These awesome human beings are legends of the sport and have intimate knowledge of The WILD courses and the challenges they present. We will be hosting a Live Q&A with them prior to the event (dateTBC) so you can benefit from their huge knowledge and experience.

Ian Evans

“I’m really excited to be a part of The Wild and the opportunity to bring like-minded souls together to celebrate a weekend full of adventure, mountain running and trail festivities. Let’s bring the party to the mountains!”

Ian has accomplished so much in just a short time. He is just 1 of 4 finishers of the Revenant and a 2023 Godzone finisher. In 2019 he ran ‘Dawn til Dusky’ completing the infamously long and gnarly Dusky Track in Fiordland in the ridiculously fast time of 25 hours. His resume is rounded out with countless other rogaines, backyard ultras and trail races, not to mention the current FKT (fastest known time) around the course that will one day make up The WILD 100 mile race.
